Underneath it All

To my eyes you put words
To my heartbeat, a melody
For every beat you hear
is a note of a sweet symphony

For you see right through me
and seem to fulfill my every desire
You know what my heart yearns for
and you know the one it admires.

You ignite a passion in my heart
and it glows, solely with your presence.
Only you can see this glow my dear
No matter the time or distance.

It's you who see me hurting when I laugh
you see the sadness when I smile.
You see what's hiding behind my eyes
when you hold my gaze for just a while.

For you see right through me..I become more than just a face.
more than what's reflected on the mirror on the wall.
It's you who see me, and what  lies..
Underneath it all...
