If that's What it Takes

For what's to come:

We'll take chances, we'll take risks
We'll even take turns to lead the way.
We know that love defeats and conquers all
for it's what got us here today.

When it seems like the world has turned its back
remember we'll have each other's arms.
That consoling reassuring grip would surely feel,
like we're grasping the whole world and its' charms.

We'll snatch from life what we can,
while we're young and sane.
Better to take what's in stored today,
for to wait for a better tomorrow, is a sure wait in vain.

Step by step, heartbeat to heartbeat,
we'll trod through life to whatever awaits.
We'll face and battle every obstacle,
If that my dear, what it takes.
