A sudden link broke...
left me shaken and torn.
A rippling force so powerful, my heart shattered
it's protective shield now gone.
An inevitable effect,
It's aching and overwhelming underneath
Something is happening from within
and it's drowning out my heartbeat
It's now difficult to breathe,
I'm gasping for air!
A spasm from my heart's core
left me groping in despair.
And so i can't control this weather
who but God can?
A storm has befall me
over my heart, a cloud now stand.
Heavy, dull and pouring out
and overflowing from inside
The liquidity of my wounds, my pain..
my eyes can no longer hide..
The eye of the storm,
who has ever loved this part?
the lightening has struck me
and i couldn't protect my heart.
One moment, one drop
and from my eyes a flood of tears depart
For it's raining and it's pouring....
on my unsheltered heart.
