FREE

A rippling roar burst out..
amongst thick, grey, parting clouds, oh how it rained!
Frequent downpour of tears, seized so sudden
saw a rainbow, life seemed so colourful again.
Twas my heart crying out,
from beneath its thick, grey, cracking coat
Breaking free from a cocoon, call it love, infatuation
suffocation, now i can breathe, us both.

Rays started peering in
illuminating my heart, my eyes and now i clearly see
Hope still floats above me, a sun so certain
felt like flying, for i was free.
Should i soar like a bird once caged?
or once crippled, now with mended wings
i was flying, though i never left the ground, a state of mind
Depth of hopes and height of possibilities freedom brings.

Whoever said the best day of your life
can't be that of a rainy one.
When else can you see a rainbow,
value hope, value colour and the rays of the sun.
A silver lining indeed,
these clouds revealed to me
 Restored my once lost hope
and now I'm flying cause I'm Free.

Losing You

Losing you.........
   is like losing my heart
     it simply means
           that I'm falling apart.
I feel the nearness of departure
and fear that we'll be lost forever
For my arms are growing oh, so cold
and there'll soon be no one here to hold.
For I'm losing you..........
and it's like losing my way
       it simply means
            that I'm fading away.
I called out to you one day
  I'm still awaiting your reply.
There's nothing left for us to say
  Guess, this is our goodbye.
For I'm Losing you...........
and its like losing my breath
        it simply means
             I'm now bereft.
You once touched and softened this heart of stone
now I'm hardened, and all alone
My journey to love, is at its end
for I've lost the will to ever love again.
This first cut would be the deepest for sure
what I'm left with has no cure.
Is once a mended heart, now left in two
  and a lifetime memory
                                      of Losing You................
