This is my Home
Divinely blessed and mold
It's where links and bonds are formed
as our generations unfold.
May Family forever be it's warmth
a place where there's shoulders to lean on
Reflect the only chain that links
generations to come, present, and gone.
May these floors which we walk on
our footsteps, may they forever bear
Bear the weight of each step walked,
and to be walked, in good times or despair.
May these walls forever treasure
it's history, every hung picture, every art.
Forever would it run through its' body
like veins to and from the heart.
Its' sound foundation lies,
on our elders to be great epitomes,
of love, respect, value, honor and togetherness.
Creating a cycle, creating bonds, creating homes.
Contents of such invaluable substances,
for a such a mere structure of mankind.
It's all because He made this house into a home
Like He turned water into wine.
MAY GOD BLESS MY HOME.

The Power of Hands
Mama's Hands:
The hands that rocked me
The hands that fed me
The hands that molded me into who I am today.
The hands that scolded me
The hands that comforted me
The hands that wiped my tears away.
The hands that guided me
The hands that protected me
The hands that held mine when I was afraid.
The hands that encouraged me
The hands that lifted me
For me, those were the Hands that prayed.
Mama held my hand one day and said:
"My child, use these,
To feed and help someone
To love and mold someone
To guide and protect someone
To comfort and hold someone.
Use these to wipe your tears,
or someone else's tears away.
When you're lost and despondent,
Clasp these together and pray.
Take care of these, for when you stumble,
your fall they will brace.
To know my story, life's struggle
Trace the lines on my face.''
I learnt even hands tell a story,
try, ask who cannot hear,
They even have the power to bind,
and God blessed me with a pair.

First Crush
I'm usually outspoken,
why am I this shy?
Felt a sudden rush,
as I saw you walking by.
Though pinned, my legs trembled,
and my lips became frozen,
as 10,000 sharpened pores,
boldly pointed your direction.
How can I approach you?
My knees they seem so weak!
How can I express myself?
These lips won't let me speak.
All suddenly red cheeked,
I gave myself away.
That's when you came walking,
towards me, oh this familiar day.
Felt a sudden breeze again,
though funny there won't any.
Saw no one else around...
even though there were so many.
Held my gaze, as I did yours, you smiled...
as I prayed again," May this moment never end."
But, ever too soon, I'll wake from this dream
and I'll be invisible again..
Invisible to you, but visible to love,
things from my view, are as real as it seems.
For you would always be my first Crush,
the one who leaves me speechless, even in my dreams....

Common Piracy:
A Stolen Treasure
Lord, seek me through my bereavement
and keep my heart alive.
For I don't think I'm quite competent,
to make a love that's lost survive.
Help me live with this demise,
for part of me is now gone.
The moment of death is so concise
yet the pain is left lifelong.
I'm weakened, I'm saddened, I am dishearten,
my eyes are dry of tears.
No smiles, no goodbyes, just broken hearted
why couldn't you spare me a couple more years.
Lost of my heart, and my treasure,
you swept it away from me like a sweeping tide.
Now swept away from me forever,
I guess you needed another angel by your side.
Gone away from me forever,
gone from earth's lone face.
Lord, you now possess, my now lost treasure,
keep it in a safer place.
Now I'll do my part and live with this,
I'll also bear the pain.
But Lord do your part, grant me one wish,
to be reunited once again.

Broken Hearted Rose
Dancing in the wind,
spreading your handsome wings,
you brushed against me, again...
oh how my heart sings.
All perfumed up to attract you,
my redness gave me away.
When you prance and model by,
you bring more color to my day.
Whether dew coated in the morn,
or sun glazed at noon.
You'll woo me with sweet advances,
swindle my love, then leave too soon.
So I gave, I surrendered,
each time you visit me.
Didn't know the substance of my love,
will soon be barren and empty.
And yet.... I gave it all,
you were drawn to me, as I were to you.
But along with my heart,
my petals were falling too.
One by one, they fell,
my love where did you go?
Along with my fading color,
so was hope for tomorrow.
But tomorrow came.. I was drained and empty
yet filled with withering woes.
I'm drooped and all out of petals....
This broken hearted rose.

Before You Leave
It's hard to tell my eyes don't cry,
even harder to tell my heart let go, today...
But before you leave, please tell my heart,
you changed you're mind along the way
Guess we aren't meant to be
guess our happiness lies in being apart...
But before you leave, trace the face,
of a victim suffering a broken heart.
You'll be shutting yourself from that very same heart,
when you slowly shut that door..
But before you leave, turn around,
and look me in the eye once more.
You'll see me crying, you'll see me weak
but it'll sure be temporary.
For with every step you take outward
you'll move further away from my memory
Step by step, you'll erase yourself,
from my real life canvas, where you were once the art.
Before my heart lose sight of you through a crack at core
I'll pray God forgive you for breaking my heart.
